This site is the effect of many years of my interest in Chieftain tank. Over the years I have collected quite a collection of photographs, video clips, a few books and articles about Chieftain. I have created this site mainly as a reference library for armour modellers but I hope that Chieftain enthusiasts and people generally interested in tanks will also find it interesting.

Luckily for me there are quite a few Chieftains still around in the UK. Some are preserved in museums or are displayed as monuments. There are a few in private hands and you can see them taking part in military shows. Some are still used for corporate entertainment. You can even own your own Chieftain, if you have a very understanding wife and a big driveway.

I hope that through this site, I will find people who, just like myself, are also interested in Chieftains.
